Work Package 6 – Project management and reporting

This Work Package was concerned with the overall management and reporting of the project.

Action 6.1: Project management

This action oversaw the smooth running of the technical and management aspects of the project. It established the Project Management Committee (PMC) which directly managed the project and partners involvement on a day to day basis. This body was also responsible for ensuring the best value for money was delivered by the project. It also established the Project Advisory Committee (PAC) and oversaw their meetings at six monthly intervals. These ensured a rigorous scientific approach to the practical application of marine ecosystem assessment to marine management. The deliverables from this action were the PMC and PAC meetings.

Action 6.2: Project reporting

This action coordinated the reporting of technical and financial requirements for the project. The tasks comprised project coordination, financial management and all reporting requirements. The deliverables  included the JTS reports and the final conference. The final conference was held in Torquay in March 2015.
